Near Albuquerque New Mexico for a week.

Where are we today ?
Hidden Valley RV Park Tijeras New Mexico

Hmm, not sure why the font is red but not gonna worry about it anymore.

Up way to early this morning,  really not used to the 3 hour time change in the last week yet. We will adapt soon the warmer weather will sure make it much easier.
Chatted with our neighbor that was getting ready to hit the road, delivering a trailer from Elkhart Indiana to Albuquerque. Very nice  fellow, so many nice people you meet on the road.
Now we back on the road again by 8 am no rush today only 156 miles to go.
Love the south west, wide open spaces, no traffic to speak of and the  never ending trains beside the interstate is amazing.
love the open road
By 11 am  we reached our destination another ROD (membership park) we can stay here (free= no overnight fees). We like free, will be here for a week (maybe 2) and enjoy some nice warmer sunny weather. Full hookups too with a nice pull through site.
this be the place
We managed to snag a great site
This campground is a bit tired but we really don't care. We are where we want to be, the weather is good,  have our own  house and the price is right,
pool closed for the season
After a few walkabouts here we got to enjoy the great weather, our e-readers for  a while and the warm afternoon sun.
sunny warm and no wind
Then soon time for supper. Pan fried fish on our Weber Q and a salad.
Sure did the trick after a wonderful  day we had Just gonna hang out here for a while just because we can.
Thanks again for stopping on by.
156 miles today is all we did
time to slow down

  2. Having a chance to relax after a long drive revitalizes the system. By the time you sit for a week, I bet you'll be ready to hit the road again and finish your journey. Enjoy yourself and that sunshine for the next few days.

  5. I used to do a program about the Mexican Gray Wolf at a high school in Tijares... loved the area. Glad you have warm weather... but at that elevation you could have snow ;-) (that fish sure looked good!)

  8. Hope you aren't getting the storm that's going to hit northern AZ tomorrow. Our weather is still beautiful - but windy and it's going to cool down tomorrow for a couple of days. Enjoy your relaxing.
