No rain, another wonderful day and friends dropped in to surprise us

Where are we today ?
Yes we went back to regular blogger comments, no need to get a google account to comment right now. I have a feeling that someday it will happen thou and not too far in the future, in the meantime, we welcome your comments like before.
In the meantime today was supposed to rain all day again, but the weather guessers screwed up again. Just overnight rain and and wonderful sunny warm day again.  Just love it when they screw up up!
So I took off to Strathroy to pick up a few birthday and Christmas gifts for our grand daughter (4 years old and wants to be a Princess!) Think I filled the bill today.
Happy Halloween !
Now shortly after our 4 pm social hour this coach pulled in beside us, Was friends of ours Randy, Gail and their dog Hailey. Have not seen these guys for two years now, so nice to catch up.
But they were not here for super so I heated up some pre cooked BBQ pork ribs, made some fresh mashed garlic potatoes, sauerkraut and steamed broccoli.
ribs on our Q
yep sure hit the spot again!
Just another wonderful rainy day (with no rain). we actually had indoor cleaning plans made for today, but really need to wait until the weather actually gets yukky!
Anywho, that was it for today thanks for stopping by again.

  1. Jim always says - if we had been wrong as often as a weatherman we would have been fired long ago. But in your case it was a good thing. I love having friends drop by to say hi and check in.

  2. I'm thinking "weather guessers" is really a good name. All of us can do about the same job and most of us haven't had the training they say they've had. Well, I did take a class in college on weather many years ago. I wonder if that's enough to qualify me for one of those jobs.

  7. I've decided to only read your blog after I've eaten. You could be sued for making people overeat looking at those delicious dishes you cook up! :cD

    1. That's like going grocery shopping when you are hungry, you buy way too much food.
