Wed. Jun.29th Last day here

Join us as we travel North America in our
Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August 2006

Lots of sunshine and warm again the campground is filling up, people wanting good spots for the weekend and we are going to leave in the morning before it gets too busy here. We has stuff to do today to wrap things up. At 9 am Bruce got here to renew our travel insurance so that we are good to go in the fall. Next I took our laundry to the outdoor machines to let them do their magic. Walking back across the square Suzie and Pat were outside chatting watching this baby raccoon wandering about. Must be looking for his mother.
hi there

With laundry done I puttered around, checking tires etc.. and put on my new vest. But the old one had to go, (a few broken zippers) so I gave it to Rob to see if he wanted it, let him throw it out.

Then Pat came over and I showed her how to make rolled ribs and sauerkraut that we are going to have for supper tonight on our last night here.
tasty
They made some sweet potatoes and veggies to go along with the ribs and we had tasty meal together in their trailer. They added a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary early.
cheers
nice fire again
After supper we enjoyed nice campfire to wind up another great summer day.

Thursday morning we are on the road to spend the weekend in Plattsville for a Canada Day Party!

  1. I have never seen a baby racoon although there are some wondering around here also. Must be the season. Happy early anniversary!

  2. Sounds like another great day. I love the little baby racoon, he is so cute. Yesterday we were lucky enough to see a little fawn when we were out bike riding.

    Enjoy your weekend.
