Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
since August 2006
Well another awesome day again! (I think we need to move on soon, just for a change of scenery). Just too nice, warm, sunshine, no clouds in the sky, no wind and about 78f (27c). I went to Benson for a few things (beer, more bacon wrapped scallops etc..) and returned early in the morning. We did a walkabout the resort and stopped by to visit our Ontario friends Larry, Marilyn, Bob, Marjorie and the dogs. We chatted for a while as they were getting caught up with
stuff, they have had a lot of days on the road and a lot more to go (they need to veg.) Back home we had brunch, puttered about a bit, washed the car, chatted with our neighbours and relaxed in the sun with a book for a while. Then it got too hot and we actually had to sit in the shade! Life is tough.

Before we knew it, it was 4:30 pm, cooling off a bit and time for supper, so I fired up the Barbie put on a couple of baked potatoes (with no fat sour cream), two pepper squash quarters with honey and 2 deliciously juicy smoked pork chops. We enjoyed a tasty supper, nice conversation then relaxed and read a bit more followed by a tv show. Life is getting better by the minute!

After only one day of rest it looks like our friends are moving on Thursday morning, down the road (16 miles) to Tombstone for the night, and celebrate Marilyn's Birthday, I think we need to join them for a bit. A partial report will follow tomorrow so stay tuned.
