Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
 since August 2006

Wow! 25,000 visitors today, thanks everyone for enjoying our travels with us!

I started this Blog 4 years ago for family and friends to follow our travels, then to see if anyone was reading it I put the hit counter on it about 3 years ago. Now we are getting hits from all around the world. And also we have a journal of our travels that we sometimes go back and look at to see what we did in a certain area and a certain time, we can't remember all these fantastic people and places! My hard drive is getting full, so we write it down.

This is our last day in Ontario then we are on the road Thursday morning after I post this. We have a few odds and ends to finish up and we just remembered that last year our CB radio appeared to be having issues with a travel buddy in Mexico. So we secured our coach for travel and I drove to Lazer Audio and Electronics (a CB repair shop) and had it checked out. After checking and testing the equipment and installation it appears to be working just fine, so with some chitchat and a handshake for his labour I was on my way back to the farm, to park until the morning.

With the weather the way its been the farmers are trying to get their beans off the field. Another all day process barely stopping except to do chores and milk the cows. So Sandy threw in a couple of roast beefs, and we made a large pot of mashed potatoes and carrots. Suzie's mother made an apple and pumpkin pie, and about 7:30 pm the workers stopped to eat and 9 of us (all family) sat around the table cleaning up what we could. This was a nice get together for our last supper on Canadian soil for a while.
yummy pies for desert
